RE: Explode-all-takes troubles (V3.14)

This demonstrates what I find happening in "Explode all takes to new tracks", showing the undesirable result. As above, if this is what REAPER always does then so be it. If there is a way to avoid the take break-up and scattering that would be great news. Create a new empty track. Place edit cursor at start of track. Arm track to record. Hit record button and record something for about 10 seconds then click stop. (Cursor is now automatically returned back to start of the project) Hit record button again and record another take for about 20 seconds then click stop. Hit record button again and record another take for about 30 seconds then click stop. Disarm the track. Right click and drag to select all parts of all takes. Right click anywhere in the takes, in the popup menu hover over "Take" and in the second popup menu click on "Explode all takes to new tracks" Result is that three new tracks are created. The first new track contains the entire duration of the first recording, plus the end section of the second recording. The second new track contains the first ten seconds of the second recording plus the end section of the third recording. The third new track contains the first ten seconds of the third recording. That is all a jumble. It is predictable, but very confusing. Also, counting through all the scattered pieces it is found that there is one missing piece - the final ten seconds of the third recording is not copied into any of the three new tracks.
